Holbrook is looking to defend its title at Thurgoona Country Club Resort.
The average golfer in Australia is a handicap golfer, so it's rewarding to see these type of players in the grand final," MDGA president Steve Kishere said.
Howlong boasts a strong team, including captain Richard Alexander, Matthew Porter and Alex Krause.
Holbrook will be led by Greg Gibbs, with Gordon Webb among the star players.
"It's been a great competition and very, very competitive, it came down to the last week before we knew who was going to be in the finals," Kishere said.
Holbrook ranges in handicaps from eight to 34, while Howlong is eight to 22.
The handicap competition is divided into two pools, with teams from Thurgoona, Culcairn, Jindera, Albury and Rand joining the grand finalists.
