The 22-year-old missed the four-round cut at the gruelling six-stage qualifying at the Lumine Golf Club in Spain overnight Monday.
One-hundred and fifty-six players are vying for 25 spots.
Murray went into the fourth round needing a strong performance, sitting on two-under par, but had a difficult day, firing two double bogeys on the back nine for a six-over 78.

Murray will now have to rely on the Australasian Tour Order of Merit to snare a European Tour card.
He's second, trailing Ryan Fox by almost $60,000.
However, Fox already has European status, so if the New Zealander wins and Murray finishes second, he will claim the card.
