A man who was one of three people arrested over an alleged major drug supply operation in Howlong is a step closer to facing trial.

Armin Fejzic was told in Albury Local Court that his matter would be ready for charge certification by early next year.
Once that happens on January 14, Fejzic is expected to be committed.

Fejzic appeared this week via a video link to jail, where he remains bail refused on 41 charges.
He quietly replied to magistrate Rodney Brender that he understood what was now happening with his charges.
Fejzic had declined to appear in the court dock after he was arrested in mid-August, as did one of his co-accused, Crystal Lamont.
They are facing 82 charges, many of which carry lengthy maximum jail terms.
Lamont's matter was also mentioned this week for an update on the status of the prosecution brief in readiness for her committal to trial.
Those matters, too, will go over to early next year.
Each face 41 charges including 19 counts of supply a prohibited drug of a small and indictable quantity, 13 counts of supply a prohibited drug, two counts of supply a prohibited drug of an indictable and less than commercial quantity, two counts of possess or use a prohibited weapon without a permit, participate in a criminal group and contribute to criminal activity and supply drugs on an ongoing basis.
Police claim the pair took part in supplying 112 grams of methamphetamine, or "ice", in Howlong on July 3.
Also, Lamond is accused of supplying six litres of the precursor drug ephedrine between July 20 and 24.
