The markets attracted 20,000 people to Albury Racing Club on Friday and Saturday nights.
Albury Racing Club chief executive Steve Hetherton said the market was an overwhelming success.
Mr Hetherton said the club was in early negotiations with Aussie Night Markets to bring it back to the city towards mid-2020.
"Hopefully it will return within six months," he said.
"It was overwhelmingly successful but it's got to fit in around the racing program too."

Mr Hetherton said people travelled from Albury-Wodonga and further afield for the food truck and entertainment event.
He said sublime spring weather last weekend attracted big crowds, well above the 10,000 to 12,000 organisers had hoped for.
"Friday night was big but Saturday night was a constant flow of people," Mr Hetherton said.
"Friday night we had lots of young people but Saturday night was three generations of families.
"The crowds were fantastic; there was not one issue at the market where the crowd ranged in age from two to 80."
Aussie Night Markets offers international food trucks and stalls with a dedicated dessert section.
Entertainment included sideshow alley, rides and jumping castles.
Mr Hetherton said the event also generated further business in town.
"Plenty of people went into the CBD afterwards," he said.
