Matt O'Connell and Steven Sloan both had standout performances for the victors, with O'Connell bagging two goals for the day.
He was well supported by teammate Danny Nugent who also sent through two goals.
Sam Beddoes was the leading goal contributor for Stingrays with a double.
The win signals Pirates third for the season, leveling them with Stingrays.
In the other men's clash on the weekend, Sharks kept their perfect season intact with a win against Albury Tigers.
Four goals was the margin, with Ollie Cooper slotting through five for Sharks.
Nick Campbell was also solid for the winners in his efforts controlling the play in attack and defence.
Jimmy Scannell continued his stellar form, working tirelessly to provide four goals for Tigers.
Albury are still looking to get their first win on the board this season.
In the women's competition, Sharks also remain unbeaten after they took down Albury Tigers 13-3.
The side had a number of multiple scoring contributors with Leah Dodd seeing through five, Bree Pool three and Sally Lefoe two.
Good contributions came from Tigers' Kira Dawson and Phoebe Ziebarth in the pool, while the side was forced to play without the shooting power of Lucy Mcinnes in the clash.
