Olympian Brandon Starc landed on the Border on the weekend with the goal of motivating and inspiring the next generation of future athletes. Starc addressed youngsters at the annual Border Challenge Cup in Albury on how they too can make their athletics dreams a reality. ALSO IN SPORT: "It's kind of cool to go back and tell them that I was sitting where they sat," Starc said. "Some of them asked me what I was throwing or running or jumping at their age and a lot of the time they're doing better than me at that stage. "That in itself motivates them to go, I'm doing better than an Olympian, so maybe I can be an Olympian. "When I see some of their faces it's a really good feeling to see them so excited and keen to run or jump or throw." Starc, the younger brother of Australian cricketer Mitchell, is coming off the back of a break after the World Championships and is now preparing his campaign for selection in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
