The CAW T20 premiers won both qualifying matches in Melbourne on Sunday.
The Panthers met East Ringwood in the morning's qualifying final, posting an impressive 8-158 in the T20 fomat.
Lavington coach Daryl Tuffey, who retired after last season, returned for the second time this summer to smash 45 from 27 balls, including three boundaries and five sixes.
He combined in a 77-run stand with captain Sam Harris (26), while number four Darcy I'Anson (34) and Ryan Brown (24) helped set a tough target at just under eight runs per over.

I'Anson capped a fine game by taking 3-24 from four overs.
Lavington hammered Forest Hill and will now play next month.
