With the mercury expected to soar to 41 degrees, the club will hold the first of six races at 11.17 am.
The last is scheduled for 1.58 pm.
Club president, Sue van de Ven, was hopeful the meeting could go ahead in accordance with Harness Racing NSW's heat policy.

"The heat policy will be in force," van de Ven said.
"There will be two vets on course to ensure the welfare of the horses and ample water."
The $6630 NR Up to 65, (2170m) is the main race and has attracted some in-form mares.
The Hellen Scott-trained Yourockanna and David Druitt-trained Lenas Art have both drawn the front row and are last-start winners.
The Laura Crossland trained and driven Rockinfeelgood is also a last-start winner in what shapes as a competitive affair.
