A father and son were the victims of the double stabbing in central Albury late on Friday night.

The incident occurred just before 11pm near West End Plaza in Kiewa Street before the two victims from Albury, who both suffered multiple stab wounds, sought initial assistance from security guards outside the nearby Beer Deluxe hotel.
The 42-year-old father was sent to a Melbourne hospital on Saturday for more surgery.
His 19-year-old son remains in Albury hospital, but injuries sustained by both men are not considered life threatening.

The identities of the father and son have not been revealed and no arrests have been made to date by NSW Police.
Investigations continued on Sunday.
Emergency services were initially called after receiving reports two men had been stabbed and sought assistance outside Beer Deluxe, formerly known as Paddys.
Beer Deluxe's venue manager was unavailable for comment when contacted by The Border Mail.
The men were treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics before being taken to Albury hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established between Smollett and Dean streets and it's understood CCTV footage is being used as part of police investigations.
The double stabbing occurred during the peak Christmas party season with hundreds of people either at late night venues or on the streets at the time of the incident.
