Nine-month-old Russell-Bruce Williams, who has been in hospital since he was born, was one of only two sick kids in the children's ward at Albury Base Hospital on Christmas Day.
More than 100 presents were donated to the ward by the Albury police Christmas drive and were hand delivered by Sergeant Troy Martin and Santa.
"The generosity of the community just blows us away every year," Sergeant Martin said.
"We have bags and bags full of toys and presents for these sick kids and the nurses and staff give them out throughout the year to all the kids that come through.

"It is a small thing we can do to make their stay in hospital a little better."
Nurse Jo Owen said for sick children, being in hospital can mean missing out on things.
"Often they are here during their birthday or they are missing out on school things and that can be really hard for them," she said.
"By giving them each a present during their stay, not only does their faces light up, but they think that hospital isn't so bad.
"The relationship with Albury police is pretty special and we will fill a room up with all these amazing presents for the kids."
