Fire at recycling plant quickly brought under control
Firefighters quickly controlled a rubbish fire that broke out in Wangaratta on Friday afternoon.

Sergeant Brian McCormick, of Wangaratta police, said the incident began about 4.30pm at a Kerr Street recycling plant.
Five fire brigade units attended, with the blaze contained to two garbage bundles.
Sergeant McCormick said spontaneous combustion was believed to have caused the fire.
"As a precaution, CFA stayed on scene until the bundles were pulled apart to ensure they didn't reignite," he said.
