Officers were called in to disperse the large group early Wednesday morning as walls, windows, lights, tables, toilets and other items were smashed.
Margaret Foulston, who rents out the hall, said the person who hired it claimed it was for a family gathering.
She was shocked by the damage, which left a family unable to host a planned surprise party this weekend.
