Gina Sutherland, of Thologolong Murray Greys, said 20 litre and 10 litre containers full of leaded, unleaded or diesel fuel were greatly needed.
"Any donated fuel will be used for generators for powering fridges, freezers and other essential equipment around farms and home," she said.
"If members of the community have generators that they are happy to donate or loan to these severely traumatised families and individuals, they are also urgently required.
"Generators are essential for survival. It is unknown when power is to be restored, with so many power poles destroyed."

Mrs Sutherland's earlier plea for help to feed starving livestock after the Upper Murray fires blackened paddocks resulted in truckloads of donated fodder.
"The response has been overwhelming for these desperate victims, thank you," she said.
