Nineteen-year-old Jordan Crampton of Tumut appeared via audio visual link in Young Local Court on Tuesday, and pleaded guilty to a string of offences.

He was charged following spending a night under police guard at Wagga Base Hospital after he crashed a stolen vehicle.

He was located by police, who were patrolling rural roads due to bush fires, on Old Tumbarumba Road, Batlow about 4.30pm on January 3.

"In relation to the matters which occurred in Batlow about three days ago I've been instructed to enter pleas of guilty to all charges - sequences one to nine," solicitor Mr Vo said.

Facts were tendered to the court and Magistrate Michael O'Brien ordered a sentencing assessment report.

Police claim Crampton stole a number of items including jewellery, paper documents not belonging to him, 34 rounds of .22 rim-fire ammunition, a watch and torch. They also located an ice pipe.

He was formally entered into custody at Wagga Police Station on January 4.

He's pleaded guilty to charges of enter building with intent to commit an indictable offence, take and drive conveyance without consent of owner, drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, never licensed person drive vehicle on road, deal with property proceeds of crime, possess ammunition without holding licence/permit, possession of equipment for administering prohibited drugs, self-administer/attempt self-administer prohibited drug, break enter and steal.

He returns to court for sentencing via audio visual link on February 18.
