The defending premiers sit nine points clear on top with five rounds remaining, with victory moving them two-and-a-half games ahead of the Demons, who are level with Mount Beauty.
Dederang won by 15 runs in a low-scoring affair back in round five, with Roos' skipper Bailey Glass keen to square the ledger.
"We've had a bit of a rivalry for the last couple of years, which is good," Glass said.
"They've sort of had the edge over us the last couple of times, so it will be good to hopefully get a win and get a break on top.
"We need to keep winning. We've been winning the tight games lately, which we've struggled to do the last couple of years.
"Everyone is stepping up and playing their role and we're starting to get good numbers on the track, which is good.
"We've been in close games for the last three or four years now and we've had the same the sort of team, so we're starting to click now and don't panic under pressure."

The young skipper has faced some challenges in his first season in charge and has another on his hands with the league's best batsman awaiting.
"Andrew Creamer is in red-hot form, so we want to get him cheap and keep them to a low total," Glass added.
Yackandandah had two players go down with hamstring injuries to be bundled out for 88 in their most recent meeting with Dederang.
"It was a bit of a wet deck (at Dederang) so it might be a bit different conditions on the weekend and hopefully we'll get the better of them," Glass said.
"Andrew Lockett comes back which is a good in, we missed him with the ball last week.
"Hopefully he bowls well and we get a win."
In the weekend's remaining games, Mount Beauty can stay in touch with the leaders with victory at Bethanga, Howlong sits just outside the top six and hosts Eskdale to remain in the mix, Corowa will start favourites away to Barnawartha-Chiltern, while Baranduda's season is on the line against another finals contender, Kiewa.
