The Border side is in the thick of a close competition in men's division C1, having won four matches and played a draw.
A dominant round one display against Euroa Lawn saw the Penguins record a 4-0 win (32 games to 13).
Walwa-Jingellic pushed them all the way in round two, but the Penguins prevailed 3-1 (31-22).

Round three was an impressive 4-0 win against Surfcoast (32-12) and they kept the unbeaten run alive with a 4-0 win (32-20) over Mud Island One Job.
Wednesday morning's clash against Maffra Eagles ended in a draw, with the Penguins winning two sets and 27 games to one set and 28 games before the time limit was reached.
They face Jindera The Felton's in their final pool game but are guaranteed a semi-final berth.
