For Carliegh Walsh art has been something she has always enjoyed.

But she never expected to see young children learning from it.
That is exactly what her Aboriginal art cards have been doing for the past 12 months in child care centres and homes around Wodonga.
And the 16-year-old doesn't plan to stop anytime soon.
"It is a bit weird seeing kids playing with the cards that have my artwork on them but it is pretty cool to see them learning from them," Carliegh said.

The cards, which cater for kids of any age, were commissioned by the Wodonga council and encourage learning through counting and memory games.
"I also do a lot of other artworks which have been sold through Facebook as far away as Canada and England," Carliegh said.
"It is getting bigger and bigger every day and every market I do.
"It is really nice to be seeing my artworks locally but also pretty cool to be sending them across the world."
