And the contract is likely to go to North East Civil Construction when the tender goes before Indigo Shire Council on Tuesday night.
Councillors have been advised to set aside $1,167,616.24 for the design and construction of the bridges in sections two, four and five. Sections one, two and three are already complete.
"The bridges within this contract will provide improved off-road recreational path connections for local residents living around Wooragee, Yackandandah and Osbornes Flat, where the road network has been the primary transport route," the report said.

The contract is for five bridges between Yackandandah and Osbornes Flat, four bridges from Wooragee to the Yackandandah roundabout and one raised platform at the roundabout to Yackandandah.
The $6.2 million rail trail was announced in 2018.
