Sent out the $2.70 favourite under Ryan Maloney, Alligator Blood recorded a one-and-a-quarter length win from Superstorm ($10), with Soul Patch ($20) third.
Trainer David Vandyke was thrilled with the performance.
"He's just incredible," Vandyke said.
"He's been up since last May, he's had a race or a trial every month since July and the longest break he has had is nine days.
"He then has the audacity to put in a career best performance with that long, drawn out preparation.
"That's as good as it gets, the world's his oyster."
Although Alligator Blood is favourite for the All-Star Mile (1600m) on March 14, Vandyke said a start would depend on the gelding's recovery from Saturday's triumph.
"If there is any shadow of doubt after that performance we'll tuck him away," he said.
