Charlie dropped by the pub this week as part of his owner John Elliott's trek to fight skin cancer.
Mr Elliott has been journeying through the North East with his unique herd, and managed to squeeze the young camel into the venue on Monday.
Publican Anthony Keck said $500 was raised for the cause.
"We had a pub full of kids and we did pizza and fish and chips, and passed the hat around for donations," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"The pub also donated $2 from every meal and we raised around $500.
"I've only been at the pub for a month, but it's definitely the first camel I've had in here."
Mr Elliott has been travelling across the country for the Beard Season charity after giving away his car and leaving his job in finance for a more adventurous life.
