OSBORNE coach Joel Mackie is set to form part of a close to full-strength Tigers line-up against Thurgoona when the two reigning premiers clash at Cudgewa on Saturday.

Mackie was the biggest signing in the competition during the off-season after winning two Morris medals and playing in seven flags with Albury.
The high-profile coach said most of the Tigers' premiership stars would play in the Footy for Fires fund-raiser.

"We will have a squad of 29 players with Marty Bahr and Jamie Parr the two biggest names missing," Mackie said.
"We had an intra-club last Thursday and this will be our first pre-season hit-out.
"We will probably play as close to full-strength as we can for the first-half and then start rotating players after that.
"It's obviously for a good cause and should attract a good crowd so we want to put on a decent show."
Osborne host Brock-Burrum for its season opener.
