The 15-year-old left arm bowler has learnt the ropes in senior cricket this season and is one of the only new inclusions to the reigning premiers' side.
First year skipper Bailey Glass admits keeping last year's team together has helped the side maintain momentum after their grand final success.
"I guess that's why we've been so successful," Glass said.
"We all get along and play good cricket."
Yackandandah have just one change heading into the weekend's clash against Kiewa, with bowler Andrew Lockett unable to play due to attending a wedding.
While Yackandandah got the better of Kiewa in last year's grand final, they have since lost on three occasions, including in the semi-final.
Glass admitted he was expecting another tough encounter.
"To be in another grand final is awesome," Glass said.

"Against Kiewa again, hopefully it's a good battle like last year.
"They've beaten us the last three times since the grand final, but we won last year, so we must know what to do.
"We need to bat well in our 40 overs which we haven't been doing against Kiewa.
"They've been bowling us out pretty cheaply.
"If we bat our 40 overs, that will be a good start."
Kiewa battled to gain their place in finals after not seeing their first win of the season until round six.
The side heads into the clash unchanged from last week's victory against Corowa, which saw keeper and batsmen Josh Warren post 67 runs not out.
Warren is entering his first grand final with Kiewa after jumping across from Belvoir Cricket Club at the end of last year.
Coach Ben Curphey said Warren had been a huge pick-up for the side, contributing 172 runs since round 14.
"He's been big for us, he's a quality player," Curphey said.
With grand final heartbreak still at the back of their minds from this time last year, Curphey admitted it may fuel their hunger.
"We've beaten them three times this year, but that doesn't count for anything if we get done on the weekend," Curphey said.
"We've been bowling pretty well for the last four to six weeks which set us up.
"We've haven't had to chase too many, so that certainly helps.
"We're definitely looking forward to the challenge.
"Hopefully it's a different result to last year."
The two sides will meet at Baranduda on Saturday with the game kicking off at 1pm.
