FEDERAL coach Brent Ohlin showed ominous signs for the season ahead by starring in the Upper Murray Legends' 18-point win over the All Stars at Cudgewa on Saturday.

Ohlin's left-foot was lethal in front of goal, kicking four goals and hitting the post on another occasion.
Corryong's Evan Nicholas and Cudgewa's Jim Cleven also stood-out.
For the All Stars, Footy for Fires organiser Ben Hollands had the ball on a string in the midfield, Andrew Reid was solid in defence and Matt Seiter made his presence felt in the ruck.
Wodonga Jets star Elvis provided the highlight of the match with his celebration after kicking a goal in the final term bringing the big crowd to its feet.
Towong Shire mayor David Wortmann was thrilled with the turn-out.
"It was an unbelievable crowd," Wortmann said.
"I think someone commented that it was as big as the grand final crowd for the Upper Murray."
