A total of 227 entries were received for the eight-race card.
"The nominations are fantastic in both quality and quantity," Albury Racing Club chief Steve Hetherton said.
""Obviously we still have to get them to accept ... but on paper it is shaping as a really competitive race.
"All the supporting races have stood up as well and there is a lot of depth in the entries."
Weights are released on Tuesday with the final field declared on Wednesday.
