There are no plans to close Albury Council venues including MAMA and libraries, but staff are taking steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Mayor Kevin Mack on Friday said the council was holding daily meetings with government and health authorities.
"Essentially, we don't want to shut down the facilities, but we rely upon the community to look at the social distancing (measures) and understand if they are feeling unwell to self-isolate," he said.
"But ultimately, we need to maintain business as usual to that degree.
"It's not about panicking people it's about saying, you can still access those services."

One-on-one events at MAMA and libraries have been cancelled.
He said there was no evidence that such services should be closed, but said the council was closely following information from the government and health authorities.
"We will be relying on the government to give us that direction," he said.
Cr Mack said the council was also looking to support airlines as they reduce services.
