The weekend just gone was scheduled for semi-finals and grand finals, but with all bowls activity suspended until further notice and licenced clubs shut down, premierships have been awarded to the top-ranked team in the district's five pennant grades.
North Albury captured titles in grades three, four and seven, while Commercial took out grades five and six.
It's the sixth time the Hoppers' grade three side has won the premiership in seven years, with Howlong handing them their only loss in that period in the 2017 decider.

Premiers would usually go on to represent Albury and District at the Zone 8 pennant playoffs, but there's no guarantee those events will proceed in 2020 as the coronavirus crisis continues to develop.
The district doubts its Champion of Champions singles and pairs tournaments will go ahead, while the Bowler of the Year function, including the presentation of individual and team award winners from the season, as well as the Hall of Fame induction, has been cancelled.
All award winners have been notified of their success and will be presented relevant badges, certificates and trophies as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.
