Parr underwent a knee reconstruction after being injured against Howlong in round nine last season and completed most of the pre-season under Joel Mackie before the pandemic.
"I was looking to lace them in June so the flip-side is I mightn't miss too much footy," Parr said.
"My training has slowed up like everyone with football gone at the moment but I'm still doing a fair bit at home.
"When I get an hour I'll jump in the garage and knock out some rehab.
"Footy is on the backburner obviously for everybody at the moment, it's more just about general health."
Parr, who will coach Osborne's under-17s for a third successive season, said he had been enjoying pre-season training.
"Pre-season was a ripper with a good vibe going around," he said.
"Joel hasn't had to change much from 'Ravs' (Matt Rava), just a bit of structure I guess.
"I was doing 80 or 90 per cent and come round one I was going to be joining in full contact and everything like that with the boys."
Parr said Osborne hadn't lost its hunger after winning two premierships in the past three seasons with the Tigers set to field a similar side.
