Indi MP Helen Haines is hosting National Bushfire Recovery Co-ordinator Andrew Colvin in a series of virtual meetings later this week.
Representatives of the wine, forestry and agricultural industries from the North East will link up with Mr Colvin.
He will also meet with bushfire-affected local councils.
"I have been working alongside Mr Colvin and his office since January so that our fire-affected communities get the support they need," Dr Haines said.
"This visit is an opportunity for our community to tell the head of Australia's bushfire recovery agency about the reality of recovery on the ground."
Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the new agency in January, and appointed the former federal police chief to lead it.
