NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro on Thursday re-announced government spending initiatives from recent months he said formed more than $100 million for regional communities.
This included money for Forestry Corporation to work on regrowth and re-plantation after the summer's bushfires, plus repair damaged roads and bridges.
Another $25 million will be provided for councils to upgrade showgrounds.
"Our showgrounds are important, but they are ageing," Mr Barilaro said.
"This is an opportunity for stimulate local business communities, sub-contractors and business suppliers.
"By having this at a local government level, we believe that money will stay locally."

Albury MP Justin Clancy said after conversations with the Albury Showgrounds Trust, he was sure any funding from the program would be welcomed.
Applications are open in that fund until April 24.
"These are projects that can go right across regional areas," Mr Clancy said.
Shadow Treasurer Walt Secord said Mr Barilaro's announcement yesterday was a "mean-spirited trick" because there was no new funding.
"He should know that you can't pull the wool over the eyes of people in timber-dependent communities and rural and regional NSW that easily," he said.
