Izzac James Williams will remain in custody at Junee after failing to secure bail in Albury Local Court recently.
It's allegedly he undertook a robbery in company, and is facing charges of aggravated assault with intent to take a vehicle in company, possessing an offensive implement in public and drug possession.
The court heard Williams had been placed on an intensive corrections order for serious matters about a month before the incident.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He had told an Albury detective he would hand himself in but failed to do so.
Lawyer Bronte Winn said there were conflicting accounts of what had happened, with the robbery case relying on one alleged victim.
Magistrate Richard Funston said Williams had never taken court orders seriously and it was likely he would fail to appear if released.
Williams will return to court on May 26 for charge certification.
