The clinic, which is an extension of Sarkon Medical Centre, is seeing patients for their annual shot from a Dean Street clinic, in a move that aims to reduce the risk during the COVID-19 health crisis.
"This has been a well thought-out plan in view of the current COVID 19 outbreak," Dr Niranjan Sarjapuram said.
"This clinic facilitates the administration of the flu vaccination to patients in an environment that reduces risk of contact with unwell patients whilst also maintaining social distancing measures."
While the clinic is urging patients to receive their yearly flu injection they are experiencing supply issues in sourcing private vaccines.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"We have received our government-funded free vaccines from NSW Health with more expected in the next few weeks," Dr Sarjapuram said.
"Children less than five years of age, patients over 65, pregnant women and people with chronic illnesses are eligible for government-funded free vaccines.
"We are facing challenges to source private vaccinations this year due to high demand.
"We have been able to source limited supply till mid-May and we are expecting our orders to arrive in the next three to four weeks."
Eligible government-funded vaccine patients can book online at sarkonmedicalcentre.com while private vaccination patients are urged to ring and register their interest.
