A man accused of violently kidnapping a teenager at gunpoint has dropped plans to apply for bail after it emerged he had a warrant out for his arrest.

Kieran Heather is wanted for ice supply and possession, and gun and ammunition possession, in NSW.
The victim, 17, was allegedly abducted from Wodonga and driven out to the Yackandandah State Forest.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Heather allegedly had a gun and threatened to kill the boy during the incident. It is alleged the teen was forced to strip naked and was badly beaten.
Heather had planned a release application, but the Wodonga Magistrates Court heard he was wanted by police across the border.
The application was withdrawn and he will return to court on May 14.
Co-accused Grant Quigley's matter was also heard on Wednesday, and he will return on the same date.
