Police say the house fire in Batlow which claimed the lives of two young sisters was most likely a horrific accident.

An investigation is ongoing into the exact cause and nature of Monday's fire in which three-year-old twins Aisha and Lailani Dubois died.
Superintendent of the Riverina Police District Bob Noble said investigators had so far determined the origin of the fire appeared to have been in the living room of the Mayday Road property.
Superintendent Noble said a number of witnesses had been interviewed, including the mother of the twins, who was outside with her son as her home caught alight and is thought to have tried desperately to get back into the house as it burnt.
"I'm as happy as I can be at this stage of the investigation that no foul play was at play in the death of these two young children," Superintendent Noble said.
"Obviously we've got a long way to go in this matter."
Superintendent Noble said the evidence was a matter for the coroner and "a lot more information" would be needed before police began to think about any possible charges.
He said public speculation and "conjecture" on the events of Monday were unhelpful.

"And whilst we [police] will keep an open mind and our views may change depending on what evidence comes to light, I'd just like to pour some cold water on that speculation and say I'm as happy as I can be that this was probably just a tragic case of misadventure," he said.
Superintendent Noble said support was available for Batlow's small community "already in a state of shock" after the summer bushfire which destroyed more than 50 of its buildings.
Aisha and Lailani have been remembered by distraught relatives as "happy and full of life".
The girls' maternal aunt, Jazmyne Ford said her nieces were an inseparable pair who were always "full of smiles".
"They literally did every single thing together and hated to be apart," Ms Ford said.
"Everyone who knew them just adored and loved them."
