Towong businesses that suffered a decline in revenue of 40 per cent or more due to the bushfires are being urged to apply for $10,000 grants, with take-up low compared to other areas.

The shire has been under-represented in the number of applications to Bushfire Recovery Victoria, at less than 10 per cent.
There are now also COVID-19 grants for businesses affected by shut-downs.
The Corryong Neighbourhood Centre has been helping to link up operators with state government help and Towong Council's bushfire rate relief package.
Co-ordinator Sara Jenkins said the recovery hub in town had been an asset.
"They really made an effort to engage with everybody - it was possibly a bit slow-starting, but that wasn't any fault of the council, that was to do with government," she said.
"They've been really good with information sharing.
"It's a pity the hub was affected by COVID-19."
Ms Jenkins said the community wanted to stay free of the virus, and that the downturn for the CNC's Upper Murray Community Bakery wasn't so large that it was eligible for grants.
"I don't think the COVID-19 thing has been too bad for us," she said.
"We've taken out computers, we're sanitising.
