In-form apprentice Heni Ede has been booked to ride the Kiwi import in the $20,000 Benchmark 66 Hcp, (1400m).
"Enzed Beer looks well-placed third-up from a spell over 1400m," Beer said.
"With the sting out of the ground it will certainly be in his favour as well.
"The small field suits and I expect him to roll forward and hopefully give them something to catch.
"Heni claims three kilograms and has rode a few winners recently.
"So it does look a winnable race."

Beer was also upbeat about the chances of several of his other runners.
"Signal Hill looks well-placed in the opening race where there looks to be only two winning hopes," he said.
"Zaberfeldie and Jawwaal also look nice chances and are both resuming from a spell."
