The league's six-Victorian outfits are working on the guidelines laid down by AFL Victoria, which allow two groups of 10 to train on the same ground.
For the four NSW-based outfits, they can also train in units of 10, but are allowed an extra group.
It means a northern-based club can roughly have just about everybody it would expect to run through seniors in a season on the ground.

Both States must maintain social distancing between players in every group and the separate groups can't interact.
"I certainly would like all clubs in the competition to train the same way at the minute because, at this stage, every club in the competition is disadvantaged (due to the coronavirus restrictions)," Wodonga mentor Zac Fulford said.
