Last year's Ovens and Murray grand finalists were back on court on Thursday night for the first time under the new COVID-19 training guidelines.
Bruce said players adapted well to what appears to be the new normal, with the club's A, B, C and under-16's teams taking to their two courts in separate groups of 10 during their designated time slots.
The Roos coach said disinfecting and social distancing measures were put in place.

She added spirits were high among the group.
"Everyone was pretty happy to see each other," she said.
