EARLIER: Power has been cut to more than 3000 homes and businesses across a large part of Albury.
Properties in West Albury, central Albury, North Albury and East Albury were cut off about 10.50am on Tuesday.
Some traffic lights are also being impacted.

It's unclear what caused the outage, with Essential Energy investigating the matter.

The company says 3151 properties have been impacted but expects power to return soon.
