On Wednesday the university revealed through its 'COVID-19 return plan' that a gradual return to campus learning would occur from June 9 to November 13.
The plan stated the majority of students would commence semester two online, with specific cohorts returning for face-to-face sessions.

Research activities are continuing and staff will be allowed to work from campus from July 13. Food and beverage facilities and library services will undergo a phased return from June.
The university expects by November 16 all campus activities will return, as long as there are no COVID-19 outbreaks.
Vice chancellor Andrew Vann said the return was cautious, but it would "be great to get more activity back on campus". He confirmed that some job cuts were "unfortunately" inevitable.
