Tom Vonarx, 36, is also known to frequent the Wangaratta area.
He is described as 183 centimetres tall with a solid build and was wearing tan tracksuit pants, a dark blue bomber jacket with a hood and a grey jumper.
Police released an image of Mr Vonarx on Sunday in the hope somebody recognised him and could provide information on his present whereabouts.
