Although the Ovens and Murray, Goulburn Valley and Murray leagues have held discussions over the past week, league general manager Sean Barrett said the competition had no update on its playing status.
"We are still working towards what will come out on June 22," Barrett said.
The Ovens and Murray has previously stated it believes August 8 is the latest the season can start with 500 spectators, plus participants, required to make the competition viable.
The Goulburn Valley locked away July 18 after a board and presidents meeting on Wednesday night.
The Hampden league cancelled its season earlier this week due to coronavirus restrictions.
The VFL and NAB under 18 leagues remain chances of returning.
The Murray Bushrangers are yet to resume training.
