To say 'thank you' to the health service's 1600-strong workforce, Vitasoy has shouted coffee at the Albury and Wodonga campus cafes.
Damien Shanahan is among the employees who have taken up the offer of a hot drink.
"It's a great gesture. Many of the staff have been grabbing a coffee," he said.
As a theatre storeperson, Mr Shanahan has not endured long stints in personal protective equipment as much as his colleagues on other wards.
"It has been busy. Things have picked up in recent weeks," he said.
Employees enjoyed the 12th and final day of complimentary coffee on Friday.
Vitasoy managing director David Tyack said he wanted healthcare workers to know how much their work was appreciated by their community.
"It may be a small token, but a coffee on us is how we can say thanks," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Albury Wodonga Health chief executive Michael Kalimnios said the staff had put in a "tremendous effort" during the ongoing pandemic.
"It's been very humbling to see initiatives like this come through from individuals and businesses in the community - they go a long way in keeping staff morale high," he said.
With restrictions easing, Vitasoy will be supplying some free stock to cafes reopening across Albury and Wodonga. Any cafes looking to redeem this offer should email cafe@vitasoy.com.au.
