In March, just days before festival was due to start organisers Michelle Armstrong and Clare Holdsworth called of the event due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions.
The festival, focused on inspiring, encouraging and supporting more women to ride, will now take place from October 16 to 18.
The pair said they were excited to announce the new date, which would coincide with a beautiful time in Bright.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Ms Holdsworthy said despite the organic growth in women's cycling, the gender imbalance on the roads remains strong in alpine environments where riding was more challenging.
The festival aims to be a supportive environment for participants to experience alpine riding.
"Many female riders consider hills and mountains beyond their capability," she said. "We want to share our knowledge, build confidence, push boundaries and help women discover new ride destinations with new friends."
This year the festival will include a halfway options for cyclists who were new to climbing or not up to ascending Mt Buffalo entirely.
The road to Mt Buffalo will be closed for the ride, with reduced speed limits and traffic management on other roads. The festival also features skills clinics and rail trail produce rides.
