The Department of Health and Human Services has removed information from its website about full contact training being allowed to resume on that date, as well as competitions starting a week later.
While AFL North East Border is awaiting clarity from the Victorian Government on its COVID-19 plans for adult community sport, the early signs aren't promising.

"It's probably not great, I suppose the Government processes are in motion to see what that actually means and then we get information which we can release some protocols about," AFLNEB region general manager John O'Donohue said.
The DHHS website states further announcements on contact training and competition will be made next month.
