Previously trained by Bjorn Baker, Redouble has joined the Beer stable with connections keen to target the $1.3 million The Kosciuszko at Randwick in October.
Beer said connections had opted to switch trainers with The Kosciuszko only eligible for horses trained in country NSW.
"It's exciting to add a horse like Redouble to the team and he should prove a terrific acquisition," Beer said.
"I have been specifically trying to target a horse for The Kosciuszko for the past couple of months.
"Redouble was high on the wish-list and I'm rapt to be the new trainer."

Redouble is a highly credentialled galloper and the winner of more than $1.2-million in prizemoney.
The son of Redoutes Choice claimed the biggest victory of his career in the $1 million Magic Millions Cup, (1400m) over the Gold Coast carnival last year.
The six-year-old gelding boasts six wins and 12 placings from 40 career starts.
Beer said Redouble was easily one of the highest rated gallopers to join his stable.
"His record speaks for itself really and he has won more than $1.2-million in prizemoney," he said.
"He is a 99-rater which makes him one of the highest rated sprinters in country NSW."
Redouble resumed from a 15-week spell in May and has had three starts this preparation.
He was narrowly beaten when resuming and has finished outside the placings at his past two starts on unsuitable heavy tracks.
In a good form pointer towards The Kosciuszko, Redouble was beaten by less than a length by Snitz when resuming.
Snitz is the $4.50-favourite for The Kosciuszko in futures markets ahead of the Geoff Duryea trained Front Page.
"Snitz is the benchmark and to have a horse that has form around him gives you a bit of confidence," he said.
"There is little doubt Redouble is better on top of the ground and racing fresh.
"So I am going to give the horse a bit of a let-up and stay away from the wet tracks.
"Even last weekend he missed the kick at Randwick and run home strongly to not be far off Handle The Truth.
"Handle The Truth is also high up in the market for The Kosciuszko so hopefully that is another strong from pointer."
Beer said he recent win with Princess Cordelia in the Highway at Randwick had helped him get noticed by city based owners.
"I approached the manager owner of Redouble a couple of months back in regards to The Kosciuszko," he said.
"So I think he has been keeping a close eye on my stable and winning the Highway the other day reinforces what we are capable of doing from Albury."
