League executives and clubs voted to resume a shortened season on July 12, but it was all turned on its head following a meeting with the club presidents and AWFA officials on Sunday night.
Competition for all age groups is off the table this year.

The AWFA executive has discussed with clubs the possibility of playing sanctioned intra-club games.
The association's representative program is set to continue with two tournaments planned later in the year.
Confidence was high that a further 10 matches and a two-week finals series could be completed by the end of September, but a spike in cases in Melbourne in the past week was the determining factor.
