Fifteen Border primary school students have had their hopes of further selection damaged by COVID-19.
The Wagga diocese girls toppled Sydney-based teams in Wollongong.
"The girls won all six of their games and by an average of 50 to 60 points, while the boys team won four of their matches," Wagga diocese boys' coach Caroline McCowan said.
Albury's St Patrick's provided Ben Flegeltaub, while Olivia Telford and Ruby Moona were part of the championship-winning girls' outfit, joining St Anne's trio Kijana McCowan, Rose Bell and Emielle Gogoll.

The students were set to represent Mackillop in the NSWPSSA State Championships in Sydney this month, but the coronavirus force the cancellation.
Albury Public's Hunter Smith, Ryan Tinworth, Jesse Carey, Mason Bowler and Charlie Gibson made Riverina, plus Dylan Howlett, Makaia Gemmel, Calais Churches (Lavington East) and Lavington's Ellie Lyons.
