From 12.01am this morning, the border between NSW and Wodonga was officially closed, separating the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga.
It is the first time in 101 years a hard border has been implemented between the two states and cities.
Much was still unclear on Tuesday, with Service NSW applications to travel still unavailable until 7.30pm. Soon after applications opened at 7.30pm, the site crashed and stopped processing applications.
