However, there is some hope for the youngsters with the club looking at running a combined program with the Bandits' senior players this year.
Bandits' president Luke Smith said a four to eight week competition could be on the cards.
"We're working on a little program for our youth men combined with our local NBL1 players where they're split up into two even teams to play," he said.

"We'll have a splurge of our local NBL1 talent mixed through with the youth league.
"They're right in the middle of training at the moment.
"They're all itching to play.
"We're hoping to be able to get some people to come along to that, but we'll know more in a couple of weeks."
The club is also looking to do something similar for it's women's players.
"Hopefully we get some sort of program up and running for them to have some form of competitive basketball between now and CBL starting," Smith said.
The cancelled season comes following a rise in coronavirus cases in Victoria.
