The 25-year-old has captained the Roos for the past four years, the last two under Almond, with the latter's extensive player review system winning over the group.
"He brought the information back to us on a Monday and had so many points on what we can do," the skipper said.

To highlight Almond's influence on the midfielder, he claimed his first best and fairest win in 2018 after two runner-up finishes, including one as a 17-year-old.
